What was the highlight of Sundancer Residences and Villas Lombok
Beautiful hotel to get away from it all but needs slightly better upkeep
The property is dominated buy and amazing pool that is as enjoyable to be in as it is to look at. The property is well maintained and feels like a little paradise. The room was huge and elegantly designed. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
More attention needs to be paid to the little things. The glass doors in the bathroom hadn't been cleaned in a while, the tea and coffee provided in room felt cheap and stingy, the door to the bedroom needed adjusting, the kitchen trash bin was not emptied one day during cleaning, the beach was full of trash.

Relaxing & Stunning Views
The view was stunning from our room - it was also big and spacious with a big bath, 2 showers and your own private pool/sunbathing area. There was a massive king sized bed and a pull out couch - it also had a microwave & large fridge. The staff were welcoming and friendly and because our room was at the top of the resort, we were escorted to and from the area for breakfast, in a car. We had breakfast included and enjoyed some of the food available on room service and they were all delicious. We also had the option to have the floating breakfast which was a nice experience We also had a few staff help drive my partner to the nearby Amart to purchase some food we stocked in our fridge. We opted to get picked up from the airport as the airport was 1.5hrs away and it was $50 - we also used the transport going back at the end of our stay & it worked out to be so much easier for us as it was difficult to get Gojek from there. It was a quite time when we were there and at one point were 1 of 3 guests staying there - so if you want a quiet spot to go to (during Ramadan) then this is the spot for you
The pool wasn’t clean and my partner and I ended up getting really itchy skin after swimming in the pool so we didn’t end up using it as much as we wanted to. There was also a lot of food we wanted to try from the room service menu but they just didn’t have it available so we decided to try and get some snacks and foods from the store and that was when we realised the closest store was smart which was a bit of a drive away. So location wise, there are not many stores around in walking distance. Although the room we had was beautiful it was very outdated and the floors and walls were quite rustic and definitely needed some TLC. There was a random space behind the room (under the stairs) had a dried up water fountain that could have been used as a nice area for a table to eat at as the only table we could eat at was the centrepiece table and we had to sit on the floor to enjoy a decent meal together Lastly - the wildlife there were centipedes crawling everywhere and geckos and bugs flying around - beware of the monkeys too that crawl onto the balconies and pools Overall it was a good experience and we will definitely recommend

Amazing rooms, amazing view, staff were great. Not great facilities and not good food
The room was unbelievably amazing, we had the hillside pool villa and the views were incredible.
Wasn’t a well maintained hotel, it was a little neglected. No attention to detail. The food however wasn’t good at all, very limited in choices and when you order something from the menu you always get something different depending on what they have available. I was even served 2 dead bees in my coffee.
